When Liliana blows a kiss, it can crack the earth's crust, spewing out molten planet as though Mother-Gaia herself were nothing more than a giant, white-hot whipped-cream filled balloon.

However, it is an ultimately sexy wake of annihilation; you'd die happy.
Here we see the lovely Mistress of Death showing off her sleek new dress of hideous, screaming doom. Woven entirely from the shredded hopes of the unfortunate souls who've crossed her. (Which, as it turns out, makes a comfortable, breathable material which accentuates both shapeliness, and pure smoldering evil.)

As is not uncommon for me, I have two versions of this card. One that's a little simpler, clearer, and so will work better when shrunk down to card size. And another, that is dripping with detail and extras, that would pretty much look like super grainy multi-color sand at card size. So I give you both the official version, and the blingtastic version.

ah had the original liliana, but ah traded it ta a friend the second ah saw him pull this one in a pack cause this is the most gorgeous card-art of her EVER.
now when ah declare "ah call lili." everyone at the table swear's.

This was the first Planeswalker I ever got, when I pulled her out of the pack I was awestruck, both by the stroke of luck and how gorgeous she was. She's always been in my top 3 favourite cards, in art personality and abilities, I love her :D So masterfully, deviously, beautifully evil, she is.

O.o I got this on a plastic bag after buying some magic the gathering cards last year.
Amazing to find that artwork back here now.
Amazing I even remember that it was on a plastic bag...
Proof how amazing this artwork is I guess.

I got a print of this at Comic Con this year. I just love this image, I first saw it on a bag from my local gaming store, and looked for it on line, but did not know the artist. I found your both at Comic Con and you had a huge standee of this image. I was so thrilled I was able to get a print of it. The last one actually. Any advice for someone wanting to get into a career in fantasy/SYFI illustration? Keep up the great work and I will be back to your booth at comic con next year.

I can't believe they are getting rid of this Vess, in favour of the image they use for Vess of the dark realms. This one is far more awesome, and far more Vess then that image... what else could show the perfect match of deadliness and sexiness (so you don't care about the former) so well.
