Welcome back, my Beloved Minions. I have much to share with you today.
First, before I forget: A few weeks ago I started up a Tumblr page, devoted to daily updates of the monsoon of fan service I've done this year. You heard right. Daily updates. I've got enough queued up to last through next summer so far.

Now, on to the "Infrequent Updater Belated Recent News!"
Flash back to June, the Illustration Master Class 2011. The annual art god slumber party and all-you-can-gobble inspiration buffet. Some of you folks will remember my glowing review the 2010 IMC. This year was, unbelievably, even better. In addition to the usual stellar cast of artists, this year they added none other than Iain McCaig. This man is no man at all. I am convinced that he is the demi-god child of titan and muse. He's brilliant. He's creative in the extreme. He has a gland in his brain that excretes pure awesome.
And yes, we did talk Star Wars. Old school, expanded universe, and prequels. The man knows his stuff. (Even when his boss doesn't.)
Segue! Check out both me and Iain's Star Wars tutorials in the October Imagine FX! I'm the black sheep! They've got an issue packed with the legends of Star Wars art: Iain McCaig, Ralph MacQuarrie, Greg & Tim Hildebrandt, and for some inexplicable reason, me!
Ahem. Shameless plug concluded. Well almost. The IMC 2012 is now open for registration. This year's special guest, the inimitable Brom! I've been lucky enough to hang out with Brom a few times. He rocks in a way that defies words. I'm very much looking forward to it.
Now onto art! Kicking off with the piece I did for the IMC 2011:

And, since it seems relevant, we'll throw in some good ol' Star Wars:

Plus, Magic players have been asking about this one:

And let's not forget about our Legend of the Five Rings fans:

And last, but certainly not least, a little beefcake for the ladies:

With all the cards, shows and other stuff you've got going on, you must be one very busy man. Seems like you're having a lot of fun with it, though, so more power to ya!
